Target GiftCards can’t be used to purchase the following:
- American Express®, Visa®, or Mastercard® gift cards or prepaid cards in store or from Target.com.
- Specialty gift cards in store or from Target.com, including gift cards for gaming, music and restaurants, such as Xbox and Olive Garden.
Can you use a Target gift card to buy a gift card?
Target GiftCards are solely for use at Target stores and on Target.com. Target GiftCards cannot be used to purchase any prepaid or specialty gift cards. If someone claims that you should pay them in Target GiftCards, please report it at ftccomplaintassistant.gov.
Can I use a Walgreens gift card to buy a gift card?
Like mana from Heaven. Gift cards galore. I used my $500 Walgreens gift card to buy a $500 Visa gift card. It’s used like a Visa prepaid debit card, and is run like any other credit card – can be used anywhere.
Can you use a Target gift card to buy a Disney gift card?
You can no longer use Target gift cards to purchase Disney gift cards (or any gift card) in store or online. Both of these were popular ways to get Target gift cards, which people then used to buy Disney gift cards. That loophole is closed although still great for saving on other purchases at Target.
Can you use a Target gift card on Amazon?
As far as I know, Target gift cards can only be used at Target stores or online at Target.com. Amazon does have a habit of figuring out “creative” ways to make new customers, so I wouldn’t put it past them to come up with a way to use any gift card as paymentat an expense to the customer, of course.
Can I use a Target gift card to buy an Amazon gift card?
If you have a target gift card the money CAN’T go to amazon. So the purchase is declined.
